According to reports, Anil Kumar regularly buys lottery tickets as a hobby. This time, he chose the ticket number based on his mother’s birthday, which turned out to be his lucky charm.

Speaking about his unexpected win, Anil said there was nothing special about his selection. “I just bought a ticket like everyone else, but the last digits matched my mother’s birth date. That’s what brought me this luck,” he shared. Anil revealed that he plans to bring his parents to Abu Dhabi and settle there permanently. He also expressed his desire to buy a luxury car and donate a portion of the prize money to charity.

Interestingly, if this lottery had been won in India, Anil would have had to pay nearly ₹90 crore in taxes. However, UAE does not impose any tax on lottery winnings, allowing him to take home the full amount. This win has sparked excitement among Indian expatriates in the UAE, inspiring many with Anil’s incredible stroke of luck and his emotional tribute to his mother.

The remarkable flight took place at the Ambala Air Force Station, Haryana, on October 29, 2025, marking a significant moment in India’s aviation and defense history.

The sortie was conducted by the Indian Air Force (IAF) as part of its engagement program with the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. This initiative symbolizes the President’s active involvement in understanding India’s aerial defense capabilities and operational excellence.

Earlier, in 2023, Droupadi Murmu had taken a memorable flight in a Sukhoi-30MKI fighter jet, which had already earned her national acclaim. Now, by flying in the Rafale, one of the world’s most advanced multirole combat aircraft, she has reached yet another milestone in Indian presidential history.

1. About the Rafale Fighter Jet

The Dassault Rafale, inducted into the Indian Air Force in 2020, is a 4.5 generation multirole fighter jet equipped with cutting-edge radar, air-to-air and air-to-ground capabilities, and long-range strike systems. With its exceptional maneuverability and combat readiness, the Rafale serves as a key component of India’s defense arsenal.

2. Significance of the Presidential Sortie

President Murmu’s Rafale flight is not merely ceremonial—it represents her deep engagement with India’s defense preparedness. As the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, her participation strengthens civil-military relations and boosts the morale of IAF personnel.

Her sortie also highlights India’s commitment to empowering leadership visibility in defense operations. The Indian Air Force has previously offered similar familiarization sorties to dignitaries, but this marks the first time a sitting President has flown in the Rafale.

3. Message of Inspiration and Empowerment

President Droupadi Murmu’s achievements continue to inspire millions, particularly women and young citizens across the nation. Her courage and willingness to experience the challenges faced by defense personnel symbolize leadership through action.

As the first tribal woman to hold the office of President, and now the first to fly in the Rafale, Droupadi Murmu is redefining the scope of presidential duties and public engagement in modern India.

4. India’s Strength in the Skies

The Indian Air Force operates a fleet of 36 Rafale jets, enhancing its air superiority in the region. These aircraft, stationed primarily at Ambala and Hashimara bases, provide advanced defense capability and deterrence strength.

President Murmu’s sortie also reaffirms India’s global reputation as a nation that values defense innovation and leadership commitment.

5. Continuing Legacy of Engagement

This flight forms part of the President’s continued interaction with India’s armed forces, showcasing her dedication to understanding military operations firsthand. It reinforces her role as the Supreme Commander, ensuring national readiness and defense integrity.

By taking this historic sortie, Droupadi Murmu has joined a distinguished list of leaders who have personally experienced the capabilities of the IAF’s frontline aircraft.

Films rejected by Shah Rukh Khan https://newskabaap.com/movies/films-rejected-by-shah-rukh-khan/ https://newskabaap.com/movies/films-rejected-by-shah-rukh-khan/#respond Wed, 29 Oct 2025 04:05:40 +0000 https://newskabaap.com/?p=425 Shah Rukh Khan, known as the “King of Bollywood,” has ruled Indian cinema for more than three decades. Since making his debut in Deewana (1992), SRK has become one of the most iconic and loved actors in the world. His charm, versatility, and dedication to his craft have made him a legend in the industry. However, even superstars have missed opportunities, and Shah Rukh Khan is no exception. Over the years, he has turned down several films that later became huge successes and changed the course of Bollywood.

One such film was Lagaan (2001). Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, this period sports drama became one of the most celebrated Indian films of all time and even received an Oscar nomination. Interestingly, the role of Bhuvan was initially offered to Shah Rukh Khan, but he declined due to scheduling conflicts. The role then went to Aamir Khan, who delivered a brilliant performance and made Lagaan a timeless classic.

Another film SRK rejected was Ek Tha Tiger (2012). The movie, directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Yash Raj Films, was offered to Shah Rukh before Salman Khan came on board. SRK was reportedly not comfortable with the script’s tone and was already committed to Jab Tak Hai Jaan. The film went on to become a blockbuster and started YRF’s successful “Spy Universe.”

When Rajkumar Hirani was casting for Munna Bhai MBBS (2003), his first choice for the role of Munna was Shah Rukh Khan. Unfortunately, SRK had health issues during that time and could not take up the project. The role later went to Sanjay Dutt, whose portrayal of the lovable gangster-turned-doctor won millions of hearts and created a cult classic in Indian cinema.

The record-breaking hit 3 Idiots (2009) is also on the list of movies that SRK turned down. Director Rajkumar Hirani initially approached Shah Rukh for the role of Rancho. However, he was unable to commit to the project due to date clashes. Aamir Khan later took the role, and the film became one of the biggest hits in Indian cinema, spreading a strong message about education and innovation.

Ashutosh Gowariker once again approached Shah Rukh Khan for Jodhaa Akbar (2008). The film required an extended shooting schedule and a physically demanding role. SRK, occupied with other projects, declined the offer. Hrithik Roshan was later cast as Emperor Akbar, and his performance, along with Aishwarya Rai’s portrayal of Jodhaa, turned the film into a grand success.

Shah Rukh Khan has often spoken openly about the films he turned down. He has said that he doesn’t regret his choices, as every film finds its perfect actor. He has also praised his contemporaries for their performances in the roles he rejected. According to SRK, success in Bollywood is not just about the films one does — it’s also about the films one chooses not to do.

Even though he missed out on these iconic films, Shah Rukh Khan’s filmography remains unmatched. From Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge to Chak De! India and Pathaan, he has delivered performances that shaped generations of cinema lovers. His ability to take risks and constantly reinvent himself is what keeps him at the top, decade after decade.

Shah Rukh Khan’s journey proves that even rejections can lead to remarkable success. The actor continues to inspire millions worldwide with his determination, humility, and love for cinema.

ISRO to Launch India’s Heaviest CMS-03 Satellite Soon https://newskabaap.com/news/isro-to-launch-indias-heaviest-cms-03-satellite-soon/ https://newskabaap.com/news/isro-to-launch-indias-heaviest-cms-03-satellite-soon/#respond Mon, 27 Oct 2025 08:56:13 +0000 https://newskabaap.com/?p=420 The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is preparing to launch India’s heaviest communication satellite, CMS-03, on November 2, 2025, from Sriharikota. This highly anticipated mission will use ISRO’s LVM3-M5 launch vehicle, marking its fifth operational flight. The mission aims to boost India’s communication infrastructure and expand its satellite-based services across land and sea.

The CMS-03 satellite, weighing approximately 4,400 kilograms, will be the heaviest communication satellite ever launched by ISRO into Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit (GTO). This advanced satellite is designed to provide multi-band communication services, ensuring seamless coverage over a wide oceanic and continental region.

The LVM3-M5 (Launch Vehicle Mark-3) is ISRO’s most powerful rocket to date, capable of launching heavy payloads into space. Known for its reliability, LVM3 has successfully carried out significant missions in the past, including Chandrayaan-3 and several commercial satellite launches. With CMS-03, the LVM3-M5 continues its record of excellence, demonstrating India’s growing strength in space technology and orbital deployment.

According to ISRO, the CMS-03 mission will provide multi-band communication services that will greatly enhance telecommunication, broadcasting, and data connectivity across remote regions. The satellite’s coverage area will include India and surrounding oceanic zones, making it a vital asset for maritime communication, disaster management, and digital infrastructure expansion.

One of the unique aspects of this mission is its payload capability. The CMS-03 satellite, being the heaviest ever built for communication purposes in India, showcases ISRO’s capability to develop large, complex systems domestically. This is a significant step toward India’s long-term goal of achieving complete self-reliance in space technology.

Officials at ISRO have expressed confidence in the LVM3-M5 launch, emphasizing its proven track record and precision performance. The success of CMS-03 will not only enhance India’s communication network but also pave the way for future missions involving even heavier payloads and interplanetary exploration.

With the CMS-03 launch, ISRO continues to expand its horizon in global space technology. The mission reinforces India’s reputation as a reliable space power capable of executing large-scale projects efficiently. It will also help strengthen India’s commercial launch capabilities by attracting international clients looking for dependable and cost-effective launch services.

ISRO’s upcoming projects, including Aditya-L1, NISAR (a NASA collaboration), and Gaganyaan, underline the organization’s steady advancement in research and innovation. Each mission adds a new milestone to India’s growing space legacy, making the country a formidable player in global space exploration.

Bandi Pawan Kalyan – The Artist Who Breathes Art https://newskabaap.com/hungama/bandi-pawan-kalyan-the-artist-who-breathes-art/ https://newskabaap.com/hungama/bandi-pawan-kalyan-the-artist-who-breathes-art/#respond Fri, 17 Oct 2025 04:07:45 +0000 https://newskabaap.com/?p=315 His name is Bandi Pawan Kalyan — for him, art is life and creation is breath. On one hand, he is a gifted photographer capturing the essence of light and shadow; on the other, he is a passionate painter who works across all mediums. At the same time, he is a dedicated researcher exploring Temple Architecture, Indian Culture, and Tholu Bommalata — the ancient shadow puppetry art form of Andhra Pradesh.F or Pawan Kalyan, art is not merely a passion; it is an inseparable part of life. His journey stands as an inspiring testament to what a young artist can achieve through dedication and curiosity.

Early Life and Education

Born in Kandukuru, a small village in Anantapur mandal of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan is the eldest son of Bandi Suvarna and Chandra. From an early age, his innate creativity caught the attention of his teachers. His younger brother, Uday Kumar, is currently pursuing his intermediate studies. Pawan completed his schooling at the Government Zilla Parishad High School in Kandukuru and later studied at Sri Vivekananda Junior College. Though he earned a B.Sc. in Statistics in 2016, his heart longed not for numbers but for colors and canvases. Following his inner calling, he joined Yogi Vemana University, Kadapa in 2019 to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Painting.

Photography – The World of Light and Shadow

During his college years, Pawan Kalyan discovered a new world through the lens of a camera. He spent his afternoons working at a local photo studio, learning the craft of photography hands-on. He also briefly worked at Parle Biscuit Company before returning to his true passion. When he applied to study photography at Yogi Vemana University, he learned that the course was not available and instead joined the Painting Department. Yet, his love for photography remained unwavering. He began capturing the grandeur of temple architecture, Indian heritage, and folk traditions through his lens. His unique perspective won him several accolades, including a Gold Medal in Photography at the National Youth Festival 2023.

Painting – The Language of Colors

Without any formal experience, Pawan Kalyan entered the world of painting during his university years — and soon found his true calling. Starting with watercolors, he gradually expanded his expertise to poster colors and acrylic mediums. To date, he has created over 500 paintings, each resonating with deep emotion, humanity, and philosophical reflection. His works have not only earned him numerous awards but also the appreciation of distinguished artists and art lovers across the state.

Temple Architecture & Tholu Bommalata

Deeply inspired by the grandeur of Indian temples and their intricate sculptures, Pawan Kalyan dedicated himself to documenting and studying these treasures through art and photography. In recent years, he has turned his focus toward reviving the ancient art of Tholu Bommalata — a shadow puppetry tradition once flourishing in the Anantapur region. His efforts to preserve this vanishing art form reflect not just his talent but his commitment to cultural conservation.

Awards and Recognitions – Honoring the Journey

  • 2019: 1st Prize in C.P. Brown Painting Competition during C.P. Brown Festival.
  • 2022: Youth Artist Award from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.
  • 2023: Silver Medal in Spot Photography at the 36th Inter-University South Zone Youth Festival.

Bandi Pawan Kalyan – An Inspiration for Youth

What began as a college passion has now blossomed into a lifelong artistic voyage. Even while working as an Art & Craft Teacher, Pawan Kalyan continues to dedicate his time to exploring the depth of art, culture, and traditional knowledge. He is not merely an artist — he is a seeker of beauty, a student of tradition, and a guardian of heritage. His journey reminds us that true art is not learned; it is lived. Bandi Pawan Kalyan’s story is not just about paintings or photographs — it is about passion, perseverance, and purpose. For every young dreamer who wishes to turn creativity into a way of life, his path lights the way forward.

Assam inspiring real-life story https://newskabaap.com/hungama/assam-inspiring-real-life-story/ https://newskabaap.com/hungama/assam-inspiring-real-life-story/#respond Mon, 06 Oct 2025 12:38:38 +0000 https://newskabaap.com/?p=302 This is not a movie story, it’s a real-life miracle that happened in Tinsukia district, Assam. A 30-year-old man named Soberan used to earn his living by selling vegetables. He was unmarried and led a simple life.

One evening, while returning home after selling vegetables, he heard the faint cry of a baby coming from the bushes by the roadside. Curious and worried, he went closer and found a newborn baby girl lying on a pile of garbage, crying helplessly. He looked around but found no one. The baby was so beautiful and innocent. Without thinking twice, Soberan decided to take her home.

He made a life-changing decision that day — instead of marrying, he chose to raise that baby girl as his own daughter. He named her Jyoti, meaning “light.” Even though he lived in poverty, he worked day and night to make sure Jyoti never felt a single hardship. He sent her to school, fulfilled all her needs, and gave her a happy childhood. Soberan often went hungry but never let Jyoti sleep without food. Such was his love and sacrifice as a father.

In 2013, Jyoti graduated with a degree in Computer Science. The following year, she appeared for the Public Service Commission examination and passed with flying colors. She was appointed as an Assistant Commissioner in the Income Tax Department in 2014. When Soberan saw his daughter achieving what he could never dream of, tears of joy rolled down his cheeks.

Even after getting a government job, Jyoti continued to take care of her father with great affection. Despite her requests to stop working, Soberan still continued his vegetable business with a smile. When the media asked him about his story, he said, “I didn’t pick up a baby girl from a garbage heap… I found a diamond. She is the light (Jyoti) of my life.”

This heartwarming story teaches us that true humanity lies in love and sacrifice, not in wealth or background. Soberan saw hope in an abandoned child and gave her a beautiful future. Together, they proved that compassion, determination, and selfless love can truly change lives.

Movie Box Office Collection Terms Explained with Example https://newskabaap.com/hungama/movie-box-office-collection-terms-explained-with-example/ https://newskabaap.com/hungama/movie-box-office-collection-terms-explained-with-example/#respond Tue, 30 Sep 2025 16:13:43 +0000 https://newskabaap.com/?p=294 In the film industry, box office collections are divided into several terms like Gross, Net, Share, Producer Amount, Distributor Amount, Exhibitor Amount, Break-even, Satellite Rights, Audio Rights, Theatre Rights, and Overseas Rights. Many movie lovers see these numbers daily, but only a few understand what they truly mean. Let us break them down with a clear example.

1. Gross Collection

Gross collection is the total money collected from theatres including ticket price + GST (taxes).

Example: If a movie sells tickets worth ₹100 crores including 18% GST, then Gross = ₹100 crores.

2. Net Collection

Net collection is the amount after deducting GST and other taxes from gross.

Example: From ₹100 crores gross, if 18% GST is deducted, Net = ₹82 crores.

3. Share (Distributor Share)

Share is the amount that goes to the distributor after exhibitor (theatre owner) takes their percentage. Usually, exhibitors take 40-50% in the first week.

Example: If Net is ₹82 crores, and theatre owners take 50%, distributor share = ₹41 crores.

4. Producer Amount

Producer gets money by selling distribution rights before or after release. He earns through:

Theatrical rights (distributors)

Satellite rights (TV channels)

OTT rights

Audio rights

If the producer sells theatrical rights for ₹60 crores and distributors earn ₹41 crores share, distributor faces a loss of ₹19 crores unless recovery comes from later weeks.

5. Distributor Amount

The amount distributor invests to buy theatrical rights from producer.

Example: Distributor bought rights for ₹60 crores. He recovers only ₹41 crores in 1st week.

6. Exhibitor Amount (Theatre Owner)

Exhibitor earns from his share of ticket sales (generally 50%).

Example: From ₹82 crores Net, exhibitor takes ₹41 crores.

7. Break-even Point

Break-even is the minimum amount required for distributor to recover his investment.

Example: Distributor bought rights for ₹60 crores → He needs at least ₹60 crores share to break-even. If he earns more, it’s profit; if less, it’s a loss.

8. Satellite Rights

Satellite rights are sold to TV channels for telecasting.

Example: Popular star movies sell for ₹30–50 crores.

9. Audio Rights

Music companies buy audio rights for songs.

Example: Audio rights sold for ₹5 crores.

10. Theatre Rights

This means selling rights for screening movies in a specific region (AP, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, North India, etc.).

11. Overseas Rights

Overseas rights are sold to distributors outside India (USA, Gulf, UK, Australia, etc.).

Example: Overseas rights sold for ₹15 crores.

Full Example of a Movie Business

Let’s assume a Telugu big star movie:

Gross: ₹100 crores

Net: ₹82 crores

Exhibitor Share: ₹41 crores

Distributor Share: ₹41 crores

Distributor Investment: ₹60 crores

Loss: ₹19 crores (unless more weeks perform well)

Other Rights:

Satellite Rights: ₹35 crores

Audio Rights: ₹5 crores

Overseas Rights: ₹15 crores

OTT Rights: ₹40 crores

Total Non-Theatrical = ₹95 crores → This is extra income for producer.

OG Review – A Technically Strong & Stylish Action Entertainer https://newskabaap.com/movies/og-review-a-technically-strong-stylish-action-entertainer/ https://newskabaap.com/movies/og-review-a-technically-strong-stylish-action-entertainer/#respond Wed, 24 Sep 2025 20:17:55 +0000 https://newskabaap.com/?p=287 Rating: ⭐⭐⭐🌟 (3.5/5)

The wait is finally over – #TheyCallHimOG brings back Power Star Pawan Kalyan in full force, and the result is an electrifying gangster drama with style, substance, and solid fan moments. Directed by Sujeeth, OG is not just another mass action film, but a cinematic experience that blends class with raw mass appeal.

Pawan Kalyan as Ojas Gambheera

Pawan Kalyan’s comeback as Ojas Gambheera is nothing short of spectacular. His portrayal is intense, silent, ruthless, and deeply human. Right from the introduction scene and title card, the atmosphere is charged with energy – every frame screams POWER. This is the kind of performance fans have been waiting for, and PK delivers it with absolute dominance.

Sujeeth’s Direction & Visual Brilliance

Director Sujeeth crafts OG as a slick gangster saga. Unlike routine noisy action films, OG’s action feels artistic and cinematic. The rain-soaked 80s Mumbai backdrop, stylish katana fight sequences, police station episode and the port fight all look visually stunning and elevate the storytelling. Cinematographer Ravi K Chandran deserves huge credit for painting OG like a graphic novel on the big screen. Every frame is breathtaking.

Emraan Hashmi’s Impactful Villain Role

Emraan Hashmi, in his Telugu debut, plays OMI – a calm, sharp, and menacing villain who stands as a perfect counter to Pawan Kalyan’s aura. His look reminds fans of his Awarapan days, and North Indian audiences will definitely enjoy his performance.

Music & Technical Strengths

Thaman’s Background Score (BGM) acts as another hero of the film. Mass elevations get double the energy because of his thundering score. Navin Nooli’s editing is neat, though the film could have been trimmed by 15–20 minutes to maintain pace. Production design gives the film a graphic-novel-inspired look, making it feel larger-than-life. The stunt choreography shines, with brilliant hand-to-hand combat and sword fight sequences.

Supporting Cast Performances

Priyanka Arul Mohan adds charm in her role. Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, and Prakash Raj bring strong screen presence and contribute weight to the narrative.

2. Stylish gangster presentation by Sujeeth

3. Stunning cinematography by Ravi K Chandran

Pawan Kalyan OG – 10 Rare Facts https://newskabaap.com/hungama/pawan-kalyan-og-10-rare-facts/ https://newskabaap.com/hungama/pawan-kalyan-og-10-rare-facts/#respond Sat, 20 Sep 2025 05:34:23 +0000 https://newskabaap.com/?p=72 Pawan Kalyan’s film They Call Him OG (commonly called Pawan Kalyan OG) created huge buzz on release. Beyond the trailer moments and hit songs, there are lesser-known production and behind-the-scenes facts that only a few insiders and hardcore fans know. Below are 10 carefully researched, fan-exclusive facts about the movie — perfect for sharing, posting, or using as trivia in fan groups.

1. Secret Martial Training for the Lead

To shape the film’s distinctive action style, Pawan Kalyan underwent intensive martial training months before principal photography began. This training fused classical samurai-inspired movement with modern stunt choreography to give the Pawan Kalyan OG fight sequences a unique visual language.

2. Hollywood Stunt Team Collaboration

Several high-impact sequences in the film were designed and rehearsed with international stunt experts flown in specifically for the project. The safety protocols and choreography benchmarks used are more typical of big-budget global productions, which explains the fluid, cinematic combat scenes.

3. Emraan Hashmi’s Carefully Crafted Telugu Debut

Emraan Hashmi’s role was written to capitalize on his screen persona while adapting it for Telugu audiences. His look, mannerisms, and dialect coaching were tailored to integrate him believably into a gangland world that centers on the They Call Him OG narrative.

4. Deep Mumbai Underworld Research

Director and writers conducted months of field research into Mumbai’s underworld culture, interviewing retired investigators and reading archival case files to lend authenticity to the plot and the ambiance. That research shaped small but telling details in the script.

5. Two Distinct Looks for the Protagonist

Pawan Kalyan appears with two contrasting visual profiles in the film: an earlier, leaner fighter look and a later, more matured don persona. Costume, prosthetics, and hair design all contributed to this visual storytelling, underlining the character’s arc.

6. Large-Scale Climax Investment

The finale sequence demanded exceptional resources — complex sets, multiple camera platforms, and extended stunt takes. Reports state a significant chunk of the film budget was dedicated to ensuring the climax had a cinematic scale that justified the hype.

7. Limited Promotional Footprint by Design

Despite blockbuster expectations, promotions were intentionally curated. Pawan Kalyan’s political commitments meant PR relied on selective high-impact events, a few strategic interviews, and social media drops rather than long nationwide promotional tours.

8. Japanese Musical Motifs in the Score

The score contains subtle Japanese musical motifs and instruments woven into Thaman S’s compositions to complement the lead’s samurai-styled training and to lend an international texture to key action sequences.

9. Record Auction Ticket Incident

A few premiere tickets reportedly sold at extraordinary sums, a viral moment that spotlighted the film’s demand. That incident became a talking point for fans and media, reinforcing the film’s commercial anticipation.

10. Fast OTT Window Strategy

Distribution deals reportedly arranged an early OTT window following a standard theatrical run, a trend that reflects changing viewer behavior and helps studios capture both box office and streaming revenue. Fans can expect They Call Him OG to appear on major platforms several weeks after theatrical release.

The Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) has nominated him as its representative for the upcoming BCCI Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled to be held in Mumbai on September 28, 2025. This AGM is crucial as elections will be conducted for top posts including President, Vice-President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Treasurer.

Reports suggest that Harbhajan may also be in contention for a seat in the BCCI Apex Council, which is the most powerful decision-making body of Indian cricket. Along with office-bearer elections, the AGM will also finalize members of the IPL Governing Council, making this meeting one of the most important events in Indian cricket administration.

Harbhajan Singh, who has represented India in over 100 Tests and played a vital role in many historic wins, brings vast experience and a deep understanding of the game. Pakistan Over Rate Offense: ICC Serious Warning! https://newskabaap.com/sports/pakistan-over-rate-offense-icc-serious-warning/ https://newskabaap.com/sports/pakistan-over-rate-offense-icc-serious-warning/#respond Fri, 19 Sep 2025 16:03:15 +0000 https://newskabaap.com/?p=63 The International Cricket Council (ICC) has issued a serious warning to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) after a series of controversial incidents during the ongoing Asia Cup 2025. The controversy erupted following Pakistan’s clash with India, leading to a chain of events that has now placed PCB under disciplinary scrutiny.

Handshake Controversy with India

Tensions first rose when Indian players refused to shake hands with their Pakistani counterparts after the match, reportedly in solidarity with victims of a terror attack in Pahalgam. In response, Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha refused to attend the post-match presentation ceremony. The PCB then filed a complaint with the ICC, accusing match referee Andy Pycroft of mishandling the situation.

PCB’s Demand Against Match Referee Rejected

The PCB demanded that Pycroft be removed from officiating future matches involving Pakistan. However, the ICC outright rejected the request, reaffirming Pycroft’s authority. This escalated tensions further, with Pakistan delaying their departure for the Pakistan vs UAE match by an hour in protest.

Recording Controversy Inside PMOA

The situation worsened before Pakistan’s game against UAE, when a meeting was held between Pycroft and Pakistan officials. PCB insisted their media manager, Naeem Gillani, be present inside the Players and Match Officials Area (PMOA)—a highly restricted zone. A video recording of this meeting later surfaced online, without audio, showing Pycroft interacting with PCB representatives.

PCB claimed Pycroft “apologised” during the meeting. However, the ICC clarified that no apology was made; rather, Pycroft had only expressed regret over a miscommunication. The ICC viewed the presence of a media manager, use of a mobile phone, and recording inside PMOA as violations of its strict protocols.

ICC’s Strong Response

ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta sent an official letter to PCB citing multiple breaches of conduct, including:

  • Allowing an unauthorised person inside PMOA
  • Use of mobile phone and camera in a restricted zone
  • Sharing a misleading video without audio
  • Misrepresenting Pycroft’s statements in public

The ICC has now warned that disciplinary action could follow, including fines and possible sanctions on PCB or its officials.

PCB’s Defence

In its defence, PCB argued that media managers are considered part of the official squad and therefore allowed in PMOA. They also insisted that the video recording was permitted under certain conditions. Furthermore, PCB stood by its claim that Pycroft’s words amounted to an apology.

What’s Next?

The incident has overshadowed the Asia Cup, shifting focus away from cricket to off-field controversies. Analysts suggest the ICC may impose financial penalties or issue a formal reprimand against PCB. At the same time, stricter regulations could be enforced in future tournaments to avoid similar conflicts.

For now, all eyes remain on how the ICC chooses to act—and whether PCB decides to escalate the matter further. With India-Pakistan matches always under the global spotlight, the situation has become yet another flashpoint in cricket’s most intense rivalry.

Philippines Receives Final Batch of BrahMos Missile System from India https://newskabaap.com/news/philippines-receives-final-batch-of-brahmos-missile-system-from-india/ https://newskabaap.com/news/philippines-receives-final-batch-of-brahmos-missile-system-from-india/#respond Fri, 19 Sep 2025 15:52:30 +0000 https://newskabaap.com/?p=60 The Philippines is set to receive the final batch of the BrahMos supersonic cruise BrahMos Missile system from India, completing the historic $375 million defense deal for three missile batteries. This marks a significant milestone in defense cooperation between the two nations and strengthens Manila’s strategic capabilities in the South China Sea.

Developed jointly by India and Russia, the BrahMos missile is one of the fastest supersonic cruise missiles in the world. With a range of 290 km and high accuracy, it is designed to neutralize targets at sea and on land, giving the Philippines a strong deterrent against external threats.

This deal not only enhances the Philippines’ coastal defense but also highlights India’s growing role as a key defense exporter in the Indo-Pacific region. By delivering the final batch, India has fulfilled its largest-ever defense export contract to date.

Meanwhile, in parallel defense developments, Japan is conducting the Resolute Dragon military drills with the United States, showcasing advanced systems such as the Typhon and NMESIS. These exercises reflect the increasing security collaborations among Indo-Pacific nations to ensure stability in the region.

The induction of BrahMos into the Philippines military is seen as a major boost to regional defense cooperation and is likely to influence future defense partnerships in Asia.

Aamir Khan Criticises Celebs’ Demands, Calls Them Shameful https://newskabaap.com/movies/aamir-khan-criticises-celebs-demands-calls-them-shameful/ https://newskabaap.com/movies/aamir-khan-criticises-celebs-demands-calls-them-shameful/#respond Fri, 19 Sep 2025 15:40:22 +0000 https://newskabaap.com/?p=57 Bollywood superstar and producer Aamir Khan has openly criticised the increasing demands of celebrities from film producers, calling them “extremely shameful.” Speaking on the issue, Aamir expressed his disbelief at how some actors expect producers to bear even their personal expenses.

In a sarcastic remark, he said, “If a producer is paying my personal staff, does that mean he will also start paying for my children’s school fees? These stars earn in crores and still aren’t capable of covering their own needs. I find this extremely strange.”

Aamir Khan added that many stars today are misusing their popularity and status by placing unnecessary burdens on producers. He emphasised that while actors are highly paid, expecting producers to cover personal costs goes beyond professional ethics.

According to Aamir, such behaviour is not only unfair but also damaging to the industry’s working culture. He urged actors to maintain professionalism and avoid exploiting their influence.

This strong statement from Aamir Khan has sparked discussions in Bollywood circles, with many agreeing that stars should draw a clear line between personal and professional responsibilities.
